Multi-variable and Multi-level Industrial Process Control Using Fuzzy Logic Controller

چکیده

A closed loop control system incorporating fuzzy logic has been developed for a class of maintenances of constant water level and temperature of an overhead tank control problems. Fuzzy logic has become a common buzzword in machine control. Fuzzy logic is a way of interfacing inherently analog processes, hat move through a continuous range of values, to a digital computer, that likes to see things as well-defined discrete numeric values. A unique fuzzy logic controller (FLC) structure with an efficient realization and a small rule base that can be easily implemented in existing industrial controllers was proposed. The performance of this system had measured in various environmental conditions such as compensating for thermo mass changes in the system, dealing with unknown and variable delays, operating at very different temperature setpoints without retuning, etc. It is achieved by implementing, in FLC, a classical control strategy and an adaptation mechanism to compensate for the dynamic changes in the system. This paper deals the details issue for the designing and implementations of maintenances constant water level and temperature control of an overhead tank controller.
